A new World Cup team takes off: SIMPLON TRAILBLAZERS

|Simplon Riders

The SIMPLON TRAILBLAZERS are at the starting gate of the mountain bike racing world! The new gravity racing team will cause a furore with an exciting line-up of riders.

The racing programme

The starting signal for our new gravity race team has been given! The SIMPLON TRAILBLAZERS will be competing for victory in the UCI Enduro World Cup. They will also start in the team riders' respective national championships as well as in a selection of other enduro and e-enduro events (such as the legendary Crankworx Innsbruck).

The riders team

The rider line-up promises an exciting mix of speed and talent:

  • the German enduro racing star: World Cup top rider and multiple German female enduro and downhill champion Raphaela Richter;
  • two-time Finnish downhill champion and last season's best-placed EDR Privateer: Tarmo Ryynänen, also known from the Pinkbike Academy;
  • up-and-coming talent Lars Büngen, who won both the German and Swiss championship races last year as a member of the Swiss Cycling national team, establishing himself as a top under-21 talent in the DACH region

The bike

The race bike of the SIMPLON TRAILBLAZERS team naturally has a key role to play: the SIMPLON RAPCON. In recent years, the RAPCON has made a name for itself as a top enduro bike with prestigious awards and test wins. We are looking forward to demonstrating the potential of the RAPCON on the World Cup stage and turning the performance of the RAPCON Race Enduro into podium places, trophies and titles.
