Simplon Razorblade 29 – the third generation with pronounced racing genes

Listen up, racers and summiteers! The new Simplon Razorblade 29 easily climbs the highest mountains thanks to its uncompromising front drive. How’s that possible? Because of the perfect balance of minimal weight and maximum stiffness. 

The newly developed internal cable routing of shift and brake cables through the top headset cup ensures a tidy look. And generally speaking: The sleek design without hard edges or angles is really quite impressive! 

In the SL version, the carbon frame of the Razorblade only weighs about 850 grams – it hardly get’s any lighter than that! With a total weight of 8,65 kilogrammes, the Simplon Razorblade 29 SL is a top-tier player when it comes to racing hardtails. 

Alongside its full-blooded race character, the Razorblade also offers maximum sitting comfort – for that extra boost to make it across the finish line.

  • perfectly adapted to shorter riders: The XS size with special top tube is now available too
  • optimum frame protection: thanks to the steering stop at the bottom of the head tube and the chainstay protector on the inside of the chainstay
  • brand-new sleek look: The cables run through the headset and down the inside of the frame
  • two weight categories: standard and SL (superlight). The goal weight for the SL frame is at 850 grams (size L)
  • extra-lightweight Tune quick-release thru-axle in the rear: included as standard for the SL version

Simplon Kagu Bosch Uni – a step-through with maximum comfort

You’re looking for a real eye catcher with first-rate drive unit and step-through? Then the Simplon Kagu Bosch Uni is the perfect choice for you! The e-bike is powered by an Active Line Plus drive unit. The beautifully integrated battery has an impressive power output with its 500 watt-hours! If that isn’t enough, you have the option of mounting another battery to the rear pannier rack. 

The tried and tested balloon-tyre concept also ensures a high sitting comfort and optimum tyre traction – for even more safety and riding fun!

Fans of long trekking tours and e-bikers who appreciate the benefits of a rear drive unit can rejoice in 2019! With a power output of 621 watt-hours, the newly developed Neodrives drive unit in the Kagu gives the bike significantly more range. Additional plus: The e-bike whirrs along almost silently. The battery harmoniously blends in with the rest of the frame without disturbing the bike’s dynamic design. 

“Never change a winning team” – that’s the motto under which the wide balloon tyres show up on the Kagu again. They offer maximum riding comfort and optimum traction. Thanks to the permissible maximum total weight of 160 kilogrammes, the bike is the perfect companion for wanderlusty trekking fans with heavy baggage.
