Tested by Elektrorad: the Chenoa Bosch CX

The ElektroRad editorial team at radfahren.de took a closer look at the Chenoa Bosch CX Uni in their latest test series. The result: The jury rated it "very good" and a "buy tip". The carbon city bike impressed its testers with an extremely lightweight frame and Simplon’s various configuration options.

A lightweight and stylish city bike

Lightness and style are the hallmarks of the Chenoa Bosch CX Uni: At just over 20 kg, the city bike “raises the bar" according to the expert jury. "Clean and almost minimalist in its design, the Chenoa stands on 28" wheels. All cables are routed internally through the frame." This makes the e-bike a functional and stylish companion for everyday use.

Bonus points for: individual configuration options

What stood out to the ElektroRad editors was Simplon’s custom configuration options for the individual components used on the Chenoa Bosch CX Uni. Thanks to this approach, no two bikes are alike – and every single one is perfectly tailored to the needs of its rider.

Comfort no matter where you look

The step-through frame makes it easier to get on and off the bike, for instance, when stopping at traffic lights. According to the jury, the upright sitting position is extremely comfortable. Yet at the same time, "the Chenoa feels surprisingly sporty when you ride it". Some of the other additions to increase comfort include the curved handlebars with ergonomic wing grips and the intuitive control unit.
